Timber was extensively used in the construction of older period properties, often displaying beautiful craftsmanship & detailing that today you simply cannot buy 'off the shelf'.

Unfortunately neglect, dry rot, infestation & the ravages of time can often render such timber components beyond repair, and replacing them with modern alternatives detract from the core character of the building.

Here at Booth and Son Restoration we have our own Bespoke Carpentry Workshop where our skilled team of craftsmen with an extensive range of specialist equipment are able to reproduce woodwork to match the requirements of older buildings in every detail.

We can repair, renovate, restore & reproduce all aspects of timber including Sash Windows, Shutters, Doors, Architrave, Furniture etc. to maintain the appearance & character of your listed property.

We can also create bespoke furniture, kitchens, cabinets, bedroom fittings etc. to your exact requirements.

We are firm believers in the use of quality materials & timbers which, along with the use of correct treatments & paints, ensure the longevity of our products, and our meticulous attention to detail is reflected in the finished article.
